Ashi-Thai combines compression techniques and passive stretches to give you a full-body stretch that is both relaxing and energizing. The work is performed while you relax on the warm massage table wearing comfortable clothes that allow for movement. No oils are used during this modality. The therapist guides you through a series of yoga postures while skillfully using her feet to apply gentle compression along the body’s energy (“Sen”) lines and pressures points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
